Sri Lanka came out to chase 292 runs in 50 overs. They chased the target pretty comfortably with 6 wickets in hands. Thanks to their opener Pathum Nissanka who played a gem of an innings and took his team through. He made 137 runs in 147 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes. We were well supported by Kusal Mendis who scored 87 runs in 85 balls.
SRI LANKA STUNS AUSTRALIA IN THE 3RD ODI
Australia batted first as they posted 291 runs in 50 overs. Captain Finch played well along side Travis Head. Aaron Finch made 62 runs of 85 balls and Head made 70 runs of 65 balls but that wasn’t just enough for the Australians as they lost to the home team by 6 wickets.
