Since New Zealand was bowled out at 326 in the second innings leaving a 296 win. England wiped out 183 in the final session of the game with Ollie Pope and Joe Root who led the team to a 132 run stand for the third wicket.

Tom Blundell said “This team has been known to fight and we’ve got to come out of there and do that tomorrow, he also added that the deteriorating pitch brings a lot of changes in the bowling because a slight change in the bowling can easily make the batsman lose his wicket”.
