He said that he would be available for a limited period of the season since he need a time for rest after being the part in the State and County Championships, alongside he needs to spend time with his family at Christmas.

Pattinson retired from the international cricket last year and made six appearances in the 2021- 22 season in which he claimed only 3 wickets before ending his season due to his injuries along with the COVID-19 which was spread across the country.
