International Cricket:- Indian Women Cricket team arrives Sri Lanka for limited overs series

International Cricket: Harmanpreet Kaur, who is leading the Indian Women National Cricket team has arrived in Sri Lanka on Sunday for a limited over series which is going to be commenced on 23 of June 2022 - For more updates keep following 99Runs


Some of the senior players didn’t join the team like Mithali Raj who has announced her retirement, and the pace bowler Jhulan Goswami, a young Indian team will play 3 ODIs and as many T20 internationals at Pallekele and Dambulla respectively.

Before the departure the team went in a camp at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore and went on to interact with the retired cricketer VVS Laxman who is currently the head of the NCA.

The skipper mentioned “ We are working hard on our team and we have great combinations, along with it this is a great opportunity for the team since they are playing the series without senior players”. The first T20 match is at Dambulla on June 23.
