The T20I matches will be held at Dambulla, while the ODI matches will be held in Kandy. In a recent development, India named their squads for both forms.


Harmanpreet Kaur, along with vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, will head the Indian team in both forms.


Simran Bahadur and Richa Ghosh are among the young players in the group, which also includes some seasoned campaigners like leg-spinner Poonam Yadav and left-arm orthodox bowler Rajeshwari Gayakwad.

India will miss former Indian captain Mithali Raj, who resigned from all forms of the game after 23 years on June 8. (Wednesday).


She is India's leading run-scorer in One-Day Internationals and, at the age of 19, the youngest cricketer in Women's Test cricket to smash a double century.






She is also the second woman to score 10,000 runs in Women's International Cricket.

With Raj's retirement, a few fresh players who recently joined the squad will have an opportunity to shine.

The T20Is will be held from June 23 to June 27, and the ODIs will be held from July 1 to July 7.

Mithali Raj, a veteran Indian women's cricketer, has declared her retirement from all international cricket. It will come to an end to a dazzling career that began in 1999 when she made her debut for India.


Mithali has represented India in 12 Tests, 232 One Day Internationals, and 89 Twenty20 Internationals over her 23-year career.


Mithali, a right-handed batter, will be remembered for her extraordinary run-scoring achievements, which include a record 7,805 runs in One-Day International matches, about 2,000 more than her closest challenger, former England captain Charlotte Edwards.

In her ODI career, she has seven centuries and a record 64 fifties.

Mithali had 12 Test appearances and scored 699 runs, including a century and four half-centuries.

Raj also averaged 37.52 in T20Is, scoring 2364 runs with 17 half-centuries and the best score of 97 not out.


Her 10,868 runs made her the most in women's international cricket, and no batter has ever scored more than 7805 runs in one-day internationals.


With a total of 64 runs in one-day internationals, she became the first woman to score seven fiftiess in a row.
